UDF WELCOMES THE APPOINTMENT OF ATUPELE INTO CABINET

Barely two days after President Professor Peter Mutharika released his final list of Cabinet Ministers which included United Democratic Front (UDF) President Atupele Muluzi as Minister of Natural Resources, Energy and Mining, spokesperson for UDF Mr. Ken Ndanga has said the party has welcomed the appointment of Muluzi.
Ndanga said this in an interview with the State controlled radio (MBC 1).
In his speech, Ndanga said the appointment of Muluzi is a call for him to serve the national duty and prove himself that is capable.
However, Ndanga said the party is yet to meet to decide on whether it will work with the ruling Democratic Progressive party DPP in parliament.
