55 YEAR-OLD WOMAN MURDERED IN THYOLO

Police in Thyolo are searching for unknown thug who allegedly murdered a 55 year-old Woman at Mpeni Village Traditional Authority Khwethemule in the district.
Thyolo Police Officer In-Charge Josiah Kanthiti confirmed of the incident and said the incident happened June 21.
He said on 21 June the deceased Efelo Chibwana at around 22:00hrs head a knock from unknown man and the person demanded beer and was referred to another house.
“The man broke in the house using the main door and grabbed the deceased outside the house and hit her with a sharp object suspected to be a knife on the right chest,” he said.
Postmortem revealed the deceased died due to loss of blood. The suspect is currently at large.
Efelo Chibwana hailed from Mpeni village Traditional Authority Khwethemule.
