Malawi national team, the Flames is expected to play against Uganda in an international friendly on July 14, before playing Benin in the final preliminary round of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on the 19.
The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) have confirmed the match. “The match has come at an apropriate time as this will help Cranes coach Micho Sredjovic fine-tune his squad ahead of thier AFCON qualifiers against Equatorial Guinea, which will take place on the same weekend as the Flames as both teams continue their journey to morocco,” says FUFA CEO Edgar Watson.
Football Association of Malawi (FAM) CEO Suzgho Nyirenda has also confirmed about the friendly against Uganda.
