The Prime Minister of Norway Right Honourable Ms. Erna Solberg is expected to be in the country today for a two day official visit.
This is according to a Press Release issued on Monday by Presidential Press Officer Fredrick Ndala.
“During the visit the Norwegian Prime Minister will hold bilateral talks with the State President Prof Arthur Peter Mutharika at the Kamuzu Palace from 1800hrs and thereafter the two leaders will hold a joint press briefing which will be followed by a State Dinner which President Prof Mutharika will host in honour of the visiting Norwegian Prime Minister at Kamuzu Palace Grand Marquee”, reads the statement in part.
The statement further says on Wednesday the visiting Norwegian Prime Minister will visit Nkhoma Nursing School and Nthuli Primary School in Dedza where she will sign an agreement between Norway and the United Nations.
This is the second Prominent figure to visit Malawi since Mutharika assumed the high office.
