The state President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has appointed private practitioner Kalekeni Kaphale as the Attorney General and not shortly after it was rumoured that former Anti-Corruptions Bureau executive director Alex Nampota would take the position.
Kaphale has confirmed his appointment. “It’s a challenge but with God I will do it”.
On the other hand, Mutharika has also appointed Chimwemwe Chipungu as Executive Director of Presidential Initiative for Safe Motherhood.
