International Monetary Fund (IMF) high level Mission will arrive in the country tomorrow Sunday to fund out how the country’s economy is currently fairing.
Ministry of finance Spokesperson Mr Nations Msowoya disclosed this in an interview with one of the local media house in the country (ZBS).
In his speech, Msowoya said the IMF Mission will fulfill a number of programmes and one of it is to scrutinize the 2014/2015 National budget which the current regime is implementing.
This will also give the Mutharika administration a chance to discuss with the IMF on the possibility of resumption of budgetary aid to Malawi which was cut due to the plundering of public resources at Capitol Hill during the Joyce Banda administration.
