As the day draws near for the Catholic Church in Malawi to host the Association of Member Conference of Eastern Africa (AMECEA), the Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) is this evening hosting a fundraising dinner.

The dinner will be held at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) from 18:00pm.

ECM’s Social Communications Secretary, Fr. Andrew Kaufa confirmed of the development by saying that Archbishop Tarcisius Ziyaye of Lilongwe Archdioces will be the guest of honour.

Kaufa also disclosed the Country’s Vice President Saulosi Klaus Chilima will also grace the occasion.
“The Vice President has assured his presence. He made it a point that he will be attending as a devoted catholic member and not as a Vice President,” said Kaufa.

Meanwhile, the tickets are being sold at Catholic Secretariat in area 11, Lilongwe and they are going at K25, 000 single and K40, 000 double.
