As the shakeup continues at Capitol Hill, reports reaching FaceofMalawi indicate that President Author Peter Mutharika has hired the services of former first lady Callista Mutharika and other six as special advisor to the President.
According to information that FaceofMalawi have in possession, Francis Mphepo, former Minister Symon Vuwa Kaunda and DPP northern region chairman Nick Masebo have been given the role of special advisor to the President on political affairs.
Others are Songadzaudu Sajeni, Colleta Thorncroft and Annie Makuta.
Apostle Timothy Khoviwa has been appointed as special advisor to the President on Religious Affairs.
Khoviwa is the president and founder of Blantyre based Word of Faith Temple International Ministries.
Since Mutharika was elected as President of the Republic of Malawi, he has spent most of his time in office doing restructuring process.
