Public Appointment and Assets Declaration Committee of Parliament has given a go ahead former Chief Secretary to the Government Hawa Ndilowe to serve as the country’s High Commissioner to Tanzania.

President Professor Peter Mutharika fired Ndilowe as Chief Secretary to the Government last month and posted her to Tanzania as High commissioner.

According to information gathered by FaceofMalawi, Mutharika fired Ndilowe because she arranged former President Dr. Joyce Banda trip to United States of America without his Knowledge.

Lingson Belekanyama Committee Chairperson confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the local daily papers in the country [Nation Newspaper].

In his speech, Belekanyama said the committee had no problem with the appointment of Ndilowe, hence, the approval.

He however said the Public will receive the communication through the Office of the President and Cabinet.

Ndilowe replaces late Ngomile Chidyaonga who died two months ago after suffering from Malaria at her home in Tanzania.
