The high court has adjourned to 28 July, the case in which former justice minister Ralph Kasambara, lawyer Wapona Kita and others are accused of money laundering and possession of property suspected to have been stolen.
The adjournment came after lead council of the defense Gift Nakhuni argued that state prosecutor Kamudoni Nyasulu does not have a valid licence to handle the case.
Justice Chifundo Kachali has directed that the director of public prosecutions should give their response by Frida based on the objection raised by the defence lawyer.
He also ordered the defence to submit their written objection by Wednesday, July 23.
