PRESIDENTIAL VILLAS READY IN NOVEMBER -NANKHUMWA

Government has announced that the Presidents Hotel and Presidential villas in Lilongwe will be opened in Mid November this year.
Minister of Information, Tourism and Culture Kondwani Nankhumwa was speaking after touring a number of tourism structures in Lilongwe including the hotel and the villas.
Nankhumwa said the facilities will be run by the Peermont Global Proprietary Limited of South Africa who signed a management contract with the government of Malawi for the next ten years.
The Minister said government realizes the role tourism plays in the economy of the country.
