Although their mission is to get Cheshire moving, they’re also passionate about physical activity in every part of the country – and even the world.

That’s why they have chosen to donate the Sport Cheshire branded kit they no longer need  to help a football project in Malawi, spreading the word to the other side of the world.

Goals to Excel, set up by Davy Chilakalaka, wants to give young people who are less academically gifted the same platform as education does, to better themselves through football.

The charity is trying to set up and fund soccer schools in three villages in Malawi, and the branded t-shirts and jackets we no longer need since our name change to Active Cheshire, will be given to pupils to help them train.

Davy is pictured with Active Cheshire CEO Anne Boyd, receiving some of the clothing. He will take it to Malawi on his next visit in October.
