MUTHARIKA HIRES NEW CHIEF SECRETARY

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has appointed Mr. George Mkondiwa as Chief Secretary to the Government.
This has been disclosed in a Press Statement from the Office of the President and Cabinet issued on Wednesday 27, 2014.
Mkondiwa replaces Acting Secretary Chief Secretary to the Government Mr. Willie Samute.
According to the statement, the appointment is with immediate effect.
