Public Affairs Committee (PAC) has disclosed that it will meet President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika over the promises he made during the campaign period ahead of the May 20 tripartite election.

PAC Executive Director Robert Phiri confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the local media house in the country[ZBS].

In his speech, Phiri said today the body is meeting Speaker of the National Assembly Richard Msowoya to discuss the implementation of Section 65 and the election of President.

According to Phiri, PAC also want to support the suggestion raised by various stakeholders in the country that Presidential Candidate to be declared winner should have 50+1 percent of the votes.

Among the notable people attending the meeting is former Speaker of Parliament Mr. Henry Chimunthu Banda.
