Asamoah Gyan engaged himself in an intense gym session to keep up with his fitness despite being away on a humanitarian mission with the UNAIDS in Malawi.
The Black Stars captain as always being very mindful on keeping himself in good shape descended into the gym of the hotel he is lodging in Malawi for an intense session which lasted over an hour.
Gyan got himself busy on the treadmill, pushed some weights with the dumbbell, did some work on an electronic punching bag and did some aerobics on Thursday night to maintain his body shape.
The ex Sunderland hitman has been in impressive form for Al Ain since joining up with the club for their pre-season preparations in July.
The secret behind Gyan’s heightened form aside his hardwork in training sessions for both club and country has been his personal appetite to keep improving himself even on unofficial duties.
The Ghana striker is in Malawi to back the UNAIDS campaign to create awareness over measures to stem out HIV/AIDS from the continent tagged Protect the Goal.
Gyan had earlier in the day visited and performed a circumcision of a male child which is considered a vital feature towards reducing the risk of sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS.
