The “Where have all the young girls gone,” project is dedicated to the more than 600 million girls living in developing countries and lead a life of poverty.

Many of the girls do not go to school and do not get therefore the same opportunities as boys. In poor countries such as Malawi, hunger and disease are an important part of everyday life.

It is not uncommon for parents to restrain their daughters out of school because the family needs extra money and the girls so have to go to work.

The girls are so be the first to suffer, if a family does not have enough money to send the children to school.
