Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Science and Technology has released results of Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) Examinations and Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) Examinations.
This has been disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday by MANEB to the media.
According to the statement, out of 124,999 candidates who sat for this year’s JCE Examinations 91,539 students have passed representing 73, 23 percent pass rate.
The statement further reads : ” Out of 259, 251 candidates who sat for PSLCE examinations, 160,966 have passed representing 68.98 percent pass rate”.

The statement further said that out of 160,999 candidates who have passed the exams, 67, 467 have been selected to various Public Secondary Schools representing 41.9 percent selection rate.
