President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is today expected to hold whistle stop tours in the commercial capital of Blantyre starting from 12 noon where he will articulate his government’s development agenda and his vision for the nation.
This comes barely hours after returning from the 29th United Nation General Assembly (UNGA) held in New York, United States of America.
This has been disclosed in a Press statement from the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) signed by Presidential Press Secretary Frederick Ndala.
According to the statement, Mutharika is expected to address people that will be gathered at Chimwamvuwu Primary School in Mdeka, Blantyre from 12 noon and later he will address people that will be gathered at Lirangwe Catholic Primary School in Lirangwe, Blantyre.
And on Friday, October 3, 2014, Mutharika will conduct whistle stop tours in Thyolo at Mikombe School grounds, Chipendo Trading Centre and Chimvu Primary School.
This will be the first time for Mutharika to hold whistle stop tours since he assumed the high office on May 20.
