The country’s Vice President Saulosi Klausi Chilima is expected to attend exhibition by the National Association of Business Women (Nabw) dubbed Malawi National Business Expo 2014.

The exhibition will be held at Golden Peacock Complex in Lilongwe on Wednesday.

Speaking in an interview with one of the local daily papers in the country [Nation Newspaper] Nabw chairperson Towera Jalakasi said the exhibition is the first of its kind and is driven by business entrepreneurs at all levels in Malawi, involving key market players that have women as clients, beneficiaries, suppliers and customers.

He said Nabw will use exhibition as a platform to officially launch and unveil the strategic focus of Nabw in the next three years.

Jalakasi said the Expo, to run from October 8 to 10, is the first step towards repositioning Nabw on the market as the premium association offering credible and dependable services to all women entrepreneurs in Malawi.

The exhibition will be held under the theme ‘Unleashing Opportunities Leading to Stronger Participation’ and is expected to attract more than 100 exhibitors.
