President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has hired the services of First Merchant Bank (FMB) General Manager for Finance, Planning and Strategy, Lucas Kondowe as new Director General of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB).
This was disclosed in a in a statement from the Office of the President and Cabinet released on Wednesday signed by Chief Secretary to the President George Mkondiwa.
Kondowe is a qualified chartered certified accountant (FCCA) and he is also a certified public accountant (CPA), fraud examiner and financial forensics specialist.
Kondowe replaces former (ACB) director Rezine Mzikamanda.
The appointment is with immediate effect.
