HERBALIST IN POLICE CUSTODY OVER BODY EXHUMING

A-27-year-old herbalist is in Police custody in Mwanza for allegedly being suspected of exhuming the body of a new born baby and removing parts barely a week after it was buried.
Mwanza Police confirmed of the development and identified the suspect as Watison Mphonde who hails from Mwenyekonde village, Sub-Traditional Authority Govati in the district.
The herbalist will appear in court soon to answer charges of trespassing into a graveyard and possession of human body parts contrary to Sections 129 and 18 of the Penal Code.
