Lightning on Friday struck to death three people at Bolero in Rumphi.

Rumphi Police Officer In-charge Assistant Commissioner Peter Chinseu confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the privately owned radio station [ZBS].

According to Chinseu, two people died on the spot while the other one was pronounced dead upon arrival at Rumphi district hospital.

Meanwhile Police are yet to establish the particulars of the deceased.
