President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has appointed a ministerial committee on doing business to champion and fast tract business reform to improve the business environment in the country.

This has been disclosed in a statement monitored on the State controlled radio (MBC 1).

According to the statement, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation George Chaponda is the Chairperson of the membership of the ministerial committee .

Some of the members include; Goodall Gondwe, Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Joseph Mwanamvekha – MP Minister of Industry and Trade, Bright Msaka SC – Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Paul Chibingu – MP Minister of Home Affairs and Internal security, Samuel Tembenu – Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Henry Mussa – MP Minister of Labour.

Other members are the ex-Officials of the ministerial committee include; Chief Secretary to the Government, Governor of the Reserve Bank of Malawi and Commissioner General of the Malawi Revenue Authority.
