Ireland President Michael Higgins and wife Sabina today visited Saopa Mpeni village in Salima where they inspected some of the projects and programmes that are sponsored by Irish Aid.
The visiting President was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hon. Dr. George Chaponda, Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development Dr. Allan Chiyembekeza and Minister of Gender, Children, Disability and Social Welfare Hon. Patricia Kaliati among other top government officials.
