The strike by support staff of the Judiciary Service Commission country wide to force the government to implement salary increment Which was agreed in 2013 has entered the third day.
The supporting staff are demanding the government to increase their salaries by 30 percent.
But speaking in an interview on Tuesday by one of the local media house in the country, Ministry of Finance spokesperson Nations Msowoya said it will be difficult for the government to meet the demands by the Judicial supporting staff.
Msowoya said the country is passing through difficult times following the plundering of public funds at Capitol Hill dubbed Cashgate.
The strike by Judicial supporting staff placed some cases which needs immediate attention in the Malawi court on a stand still.
