Lilongwe, Chigoneka ward councillor Dr Desmond Bikoko last week donated computer sets at Mkwichi Primary School in the city.

The councillor is said to have bought 10 computer sets for the school.

According to the councillor the computers will be used to ease data keeping and processing at the school.

“As you are aware that I promised to use my allowances in small-scale developmental projects around my ward, so that is why today we are here at

Mkwichi Primary School where I am making this donation,” said Bikoko when donating the computers.

Deputy Head teacher at the school Ivy Nthengwe hailed the councillor for his donation saying the school was paying highly for the printing services.

On the other hand Primary Education Advisor for Lilongwe urban Mary Ngwale commended Bikoko for buying the computers.

The Malawi Congress Party (MCP) ward councillor further told journalists that he wants to practice developmental politics.
