Six people from Bangwe are in police custody for allegedly being suspected to have been terrorizing the township and other surrounding areas.

Bangwe Police Officer-In-Charge Dinna Lemani confirmed of the arrest in an interview with the Press, saying the suspects were arrested following a tip from concerned citizen.

Lemani said police could not give details of the suspects in an effort to avoid jeopardizing the ongoing investigations.

During the arrest the police recovered property worth over 2-million Kwacha.
