Well-liked urban musician Gwamba is expected to release his second album titled ‘Chako si changa’ in November and the album’s DVD will be launched the following month.
The artist made the announcement on his facebook page on June 18.
“My second album CHAKO SI CHANGA is almost done. Releasing the first song off the album on 22nd July then the video on 31st July! #Munthu,” he posted.
And in an interview with Malawi News Agency-Mana on Monday, Gwamba said he was working on both audio and videos and plans to release three videos before the album and DVD launch in December.
“I plan to release 3 videos off the album before my album launch but first of all I am releasing ‘Munthu’ song and then the video. My second album is more focused on Malawian hip-hop and giving it its identity it has never had,” he said.
According to Gwamba, there will be a double DVD launch in December as fellow musician Piksy also plans to launch his ‘Mthunzi’ DVD.
In the album, Gwamba has featured rapper Tay Grin, Malaulo, Kell Kay, Rina, Yung Verbal from Zambia.
