Minister of Finance and Economic Development Goodall Gondwe is today expected to present the much awaited MK92 billion cashgate report in Parliament.

The development comes amid pressure from the general public who were questioning the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) regime under President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s delay in releasing the report.

As this was not enough, rumours on the social media indicated that the delay is due to the fact that President Mutharika and other DPP officials are implicated in the report.

Speaking in Parliament on Monday this week, Gondwe said that law makers will have their say after the presentation.

On his part, Speaker of Parliament Richard Msowoya assured the MPs in the August House that all crucial issues rocking the country such as the Constituency Development Fund will be discussed in the House.

Msowoya also disclosed that the proposal to have Wednesday as full day of business in house has been referred to the Legal Affairs Committee of Parliament and soon he will make his ruling on the matter.
