Britain government has adviced its citizen’s planning to travel to Malawi to be caution of muggers and bag snatchers.
Statement posted on UK government website, British advised its citizen saying most visits to Malawi are trouble free but you should take sensible precaution to protect your self from muggers and bag snatchers
The statement further said “most of criminal activities happen around the bus stations in Blantyre and Lilongwe and at the main ports of Ilala ferry’’.
British also adviced its citizens that from 1st July 2015 malaw will introduce visa fee of $35(k33 375) payable upon arrival for UK visitors and nationals of other countries that charge Malawi nationals visa fee.
