SIX PEOPLE INVOLVED IN TORCHING CHILOMONI POLICE CHARGED WITH ARSON

Six people who were arrested during the torching of the police station have since been charged with arson.
According to Blantyre Police spokesperson Elizabeth Divala, the six will appear before Blantyre Magistrate Court this Tuesday to answer the charge of arson.
Some residents of Chilomoni on Monday, June 22, torched Chilomoni police station following the death of a man famously known as Bolo.
The residents suspected the police had a hand in his death.
