Two Nigerian nationals in Lilongwe were deported yesterday after the courts found them guilty of possessing dangerous drugs contrary to section 35 ,as read with section 65 of the pharmacy and poison act
Emmanuel Uche ,34,and Lawrence Ekenezi ,33,were arrested after police searched their house following a tip off Lilongwe police station spokesperson
Kingsley Dandaula confirmed the development saying the two were arrested several weeks ago by the police.
“The magistrate asked them to pay fines or in default be sent to prison.Uche was fined k350 000 ,while Ekenezi was fined k150 000,” he said.
He said the two paid the fine.
