Member of Parliament for Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Jessie Kabwila on Friday was involved in a car accident which left her car in horrific state.
According to national police spokesperson Rhoda Manjolo, the accident occurred near Dowa turn- off along Lilongwe Kasungu road.
‘’Indeed we would like to confirm about the accident which happened on Friday at Dowa turn off , fortunately no one died during the accident,’’ said Manjolo.

She was hit by a car belonging to Anderson engineering as she was trying to avoid the truck that suddenly stopped in the middle of the road.
The Anderson vehicle hit the Kabwila’s car from behind and rammed into big truck
Both Kabwila’s and Anderson car were damaged in the process.
The accident has happened barely after another MCP top official also speaker of national assembly Richard Msowoya involved in an accident which left a cyclist killed two weeks ago.
