A 32-year old man is in Police custody in Phalombe for allegedly offering for sell private parts believed to be those of his 28-year-old brother he is also suspected to have murdered.

The incident is said to have happened at at Nam’bwala Village in T/A Mpindura’s area in Khoromana, Mozambique.

Phalombe Police spokesperson Augustus Nkhwazi confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the suspect as Francis Kamoto.

According to Nkhwazi, on the fateful the two brothers left home for beer at a nearby village on August 21, but the deceased never returned.

“The deceased’s wife became suspicious by the conduct of the suspect. A man-hunt for the deceased was launched and his body with the head cut off, eyes, intestines and private parts removed, was found in a decomposed state in a nearby bush,” said Nkhwazi.

Few days later, the suspect was found offering male sexual organs for sale to a businessperson within Nkhulambe area in Phalombe.

Nkhwazi said the organs had been smoked on fire apparently to prevent them from decomposing.

Kamoto hails from Katemera Village in Traditional Authority (T/A) Nkhulambe’s area in the district.
