The fired Inkosi ya Makosi Gomani V born Willard Kanjedza Gomani of the Maseko Ngoni has asked government to let the family resolve the differences rocking the chieftaincy.

His call comes following reports that government through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development Kondwani Nankhumwa has intervened on the matter by setting up a an independent group of chiefs to investigate the matter and come up with a solution.

Nankhumwa confirmed to have received the request from Gomani V in an interview with one of the privately owned radio in the country on Thursday but denied to give more details on the matter.

The youthful Maseko Ngoni Paramount Chief was fired on by some royal family members where 24 in total on the grounds that he was despising other royal family members.

The grouping then declared Dingiswayo Gomani as new paramount chief for the Maseko Ngoni.

But representatives of the Goman royal family advisors- led by Inkosi Njolomole trashed the decision, saying Mswati cannot be fired.

Njolomole said the Ngoni chieftaincy has a well-built structure that cannot be moved, shaken or destroyed by any personal influences.

He said a Ngoni chief is known at birth.

Mswati, who was declared crown prince at the age of 13 in 2009 after the death of his father Kanjedza Gomani, was inaugurated in 2012.
