Business has come to a standstill in all New Building Society (NBS) Bank’s across the country due to what the management says System failure caused by a technical fault.
The development has left customers across the country stranded as they are not able to withdraw money from auto-teller machines as well as inside the bank.
According to information at hand, the problem started Yesterday Monday 5, 2015.
A visit by FaceofMalawi at one of the Service Centers in Blantyre at Chichiri Shopping Center, customers were seen stranded outside the bank as they were not able to do any transaction.
While in Mzuzu City, some of the service centers were opened around 11am today while other centers remained closed.
Meanwhile bank’s chief executive officers Bernadette Mandoloma alongside Chief Finance Officer have apologized to the customers, saying the problem will be rectified as soon as possible.
