A 24-year-old man is in Police custody in Nsanje for allegedly being found in possession of human private parts.
Nsanje Police Officer-in Charge Assistant Commissioner Kirby Kaunga confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the suspect as Anthony Ndaluza.
According to Kaunga, the suspect was arrested on Monday morning at Fatima Trading Centre.
Kaunga said the suspect approached one of the businessmen at the trading centre identified as Sosten Kuyeli saying he was selling the said private parts and the two agreed to meet on Monday for the deal.
Kuyeli then reported the matter to Police who managed to apprehend the suspect with the said private parts.
Kaunga said the privates parts were wrapped in a black plastic bag.
The Suspect is currently being kept at Nsanje Police and he will appear in court soon.
