PROPERTY WORTH MK1 BILLION DESTROYED IN MZUZU MAIN MARKET FIRE

Reports in the recent fire incident that consumed Mzuzu main market indicates that property worth MK1 billion were destroyed by the inferno.
Mzuzu City Council (MCC) Director of Administration Victor Masina confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the local daily papers in the country [Nation Newspaper].
Masina said currently the council is still investigating the cause of the fire which happened last Wednesday at around 7:30pm.
This is the third time fire has burnt down Mzuzu Main Market and business players have suspected a foul play.
