The long awaited Jamaican reggae superstar Busy Signal is finally in the country for Sand Music Festival scheduled to start this Friday at Sunbird Livingstonia Beach in Salima.

The Dreams of Brighter Days singer, born Glendale Goshia Gordon arrived in the country on Wednesday through Chileka International Airport in the commercial capital Blantyre around 5pm.

Busy Signal was welcomed by Sand Music Festival Director Lucius Banda and other Malawians who stormed Chileka Airport.

Speaking upon his arrival, Busy Signal said he was excited to be in Malawi.

Busy Signal will be on stage on October 31, the second day of the three-day Sand Music Festival.

Dream of Brighter Days star will share the stage with the dancing machine Skeffa Chimoto, Nepman, the Black missionaries, Ethel Kamwendo, Great Angels Choir, Lulu, Pisky, Blackjack and others.

Meanwhile tickets for the show are going at MK20, 000.
