EX MINISTER BATTLING FOR HIS LIFE AFTER BEING INVOLVED IN ROAD ACCIDENT

Former Cabinet Minister in the late Bingu wa Mutharika administration, Clement Khembo is battling for his life at Blantyre Adventist Hospital after surviving with injuries in road accident along Mugabe Highway.
The accident happened on Sunday as people were gearing up for Jamaican reggae outfit, Morgan Heritage show at Silver Stadium in the capital Lilongwe.
Limbe Police Spokesperson Pedzisai Zembeneko confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press.
According to Zembeneko, the accident happened as Khembo was trying to avoid a pedestrian who entered the road.
He said the vehicle hit the pavement and rolled three times.
