Police in Kasungu are hunting for an identified woman for allegedly stealing a child at Chinkhoma Trading Centre.
Police in Kasungu have confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the privately owned radio [Zodiak Broadcasting Station] on Wednesday.
The Police said the woman pretended to be pregnant and she posed as a good Samaritan to the owner of the child.
It is said that the woman bought some food to the child as they were chatting before going away with the said kids.
Meanwhile police are yet to trace the whereabouts of the woman.
