Dust is refusing to settle in the former ruling People’s Party (PP) as another top official in the central region has resigned from the party citing in house fighting.

Kondwani Ng’ong’ola, PP’s Chairperson for the youth announced his resignation on Wednesday in the capital Lilongwe.

Speaking in an interview with the press, Ng’ong’ola said in house fighting is what has forced him to leave the party.

Ng’ong’ola’s resignation comes barely two weeks after the resignation PP’s deputy spokesperson Moses Kunkuyu and Tony Ngalande who is planning to join the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

Meanwhile the Party is in leadership crisis as others are against the appointment of the Interim President Uladi Mussa and Kamlepo Kalua as Third Vice President for the north.
