Malawi’s hip-hop superstar Tay Grin will be sharing the stage with UK X Factor finalists Reggie ‘N’ Bollie at a show slated for April 1 in Birmingham.

The Nyau King and the Ghanaian duo will perform at the Aston Villa Football Ground to mark the official launch of Tee Mak Designer.

This will be Tay Grin’s first live performance outside Malawi this year. He last performed in the UK last October.

The show has been announced few days after the award-winning rapper released a new song Chipapapa, which features Nigeria’s multi-award winning singer 2Baba, also known as 2Face.

The track, which has received massive response in Malawi and other African countries since its release last Friday, is Tay Grin’s comeback single after two years of no new material.

“Major things are happening already,” said Tay Grin as he confirmed the upcoming trip. “It’s a big event and I am ready to give my best and represent Malawi to the fullest.”

While expressing his excitement, the Malawian rapper said he was looking forward to sharing the stage with Reggie ‘N’ Bollie at the red carpet gala dinner.
