Police in Machinga have confirmed the death of an albino boy abducted last week in the district.

Speaking in an interview with the press Police criminal investigation officer Isaac Ndala said the head of Harry Mokoshoni was recovered wrapped in a piece of cloth in a garden a week after he was violently abducted from his sleeping room.

According to reports, Mokoshoni was abducted while sleeping together with his twin who is also a person with albinism.

The unknown thugs broke into the house and took away the boy injuring his mother identified as Edna Cedric who was trying to rescue the child.
Police said Harry’s step father was away on business errands when the incident happened.

Meanwhile police have launched a manhunt for the unknown assailants and they will answer murder charges once caught.
