President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika on Saturday attacked popular Nigerian Prophet T.B Joshua as a fake prophet who raises money through “false” prophecies.
Mutharika said this when he was laying a foundation stone of Dae Yang Lukes premises in the capital Lilongwe.
In his speech, Mutharika said if Nigeria’s TB Joshua is a real prophet of his own class, why he failed to prophesy the fall of his hotel that killed 90 people.
“Let me tell TB Joshua and your sisters (, you will fail. What you did in 2012, (accurately prophesying the death of Bingu wa Mutharika), will not happen [this time around],” he said.
The attack follows TB Joshua’s prophecy in January that the month of April will be a painful month to one of the countries in the Southern part Africa as its leader will die and he did not mention the specific country or the President.
Many people interpreted the prophecy as referring to President Robert of Mugabe of Zimbabwe who turned 92 in February.
