Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) founder and Prophet Shepherd Bushiri is scheduled to attend the burial ceremony of popular gospel musician Grace Chinga.
Chinga died on Wednesday night at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in the commercial capital Blantyre after a short illness.
Grace reportedly had complained of a headache and collapsed at her residence in Blantyre.
According to information at hand, Bushiri is scheduled to arrive in the country through Chileka International Airport Friday afternoon and he will proceed to College of Medicine (CoM) mortuary.
Bushiri’s Spokesperson Kelvin Sulugwe confirmed of the trip to Malawi.
“Off to Malawi (Blantyre). Major 1’s Private Plane,” wrote Sulugwe on his official Facebook page.
The body of Chinga will be taken from College of Medicine Mortuary at 3pm to Malinga Moyo-Chilobwe road.
On Saturday from 8am the Official funeral ceremony will take place at Robbins Park.
In the afternoon the body will be taken to the final resting place at HHI cemetery.
