In what can be regarded as a rare incident in Malawi, a male prostitute is in Police custody in Lilongwe after being saved from angry mob.
The suspect is said to have been posing as a female prostitute in several drinking joints around the city and on Sunday he lured a certain man to have sex at Kagwa drinking joints.
While in the room, the man discovered that he was a fellow man dressed like a girl and with full powder and lipstick.
The development prompted the man to shout for help and the crowd descended on the trickster, administering some mob justice
It took the intervention of the Police for the trickster to be saved from the angry mob.
Meanwhile Police have released the suspect identified as Limbane Kukhase.
