Veterani musician cum-politician Lucius Banda has come out of his cocoon to trash some Malawians who brands successful peoplein the society as Satanist, saying that is uncalled for.
Recently social media has been awashed with stories linking various successful people including Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) and well-known Musician Skefa Chimoto, popularly known as the ‘Jamming machine’ as members of the Satanic cult.
As this was not enough, popular gospel music rapper David Kalirani released hit single titled ‘Osaopa’ attacking Bushiri.
Writing on his official facebook page, Banda expressed concern over the tendency.
“Why have we branded Our God as a poor God? When one is poor he is holy, but When one is blessed he is satanic.
“Do you mean our God has nothing to give to his children, only devil has? Then why do we beg him through prayer? Job 1 verse 1-22- job had everything until devil came in…… Why do you glorify devil by calling successful people satanic instead of praising God for blessing them….? Just thinking,” wrote Banda.
Meanwhile Banda’s remarks have attracted mixed reactions with others applauding him while others are against him.
