Over 16 people are battling for the lives at Kamuzu Central hospital after a minibus they were travelling was involved in road accident in Mchinji.
Mchinji Police spokesperson Moses Kajawa Nyirenda has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying the accident at Ludzi turn off.
He said the accident happened after the driver lost control of the vehicle as he was trying to overtake a lorry.
Nyirenda said the injured have been referred to Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.
