Galaxy fm radio is back on air after being closed for a month by Sheriffs due to unpaid debts owed to former employees.
The former employees left the station after the death of the former president Bingu as they were not getting paid.
The Joyce Banda administration froze the Galaxy radio bank account during its investigations of the BinethTrust that was owned by late president Bingu wa Mutharika.
Because of the frozen account, Galaxy was unable to pay its employees. The employees took the station to the industrial relations court in 2012.
Last month, the former employees who include Mbauwo Chavula and George Misinde launched flesh calls for their dues.
The employees engaged the services of Sheriffs who obtained a court order to close the station until their dues are paid in full.
The station has since started broadcasting programmes across the country.
Meanwhile it is not yet known as to whether the said employees have been given their dues or not.
